  • Who is Protolyst for?

    Protolyst is for anyone that wants to work at the same level they think – organising ideas, facts and key details not just Files and Folders.  


    If you work with a lot of information and want to organise it so you can find it when you want it, then you should give Protolyst a try – it’s free for an unlimited time!

  • Can I collaborate with others?

    You can invite other users to join your Protolyst workspace to work together in real time on Projects and individual Pages in your workspace can also be shared with a view-only link

    In the Free Trial you can invite 2 other users into your workspace, and you can invite more team members when you upgrade to a paid plan.  

  • What support is available?

    You can join our Slack community to ask questions and receive support, browse our Docs and tutorial videos on YouTube and get in touch with the Protolyst team directly for 1-2-1 calls. We're here to help you in any way we can!

  • How do you keep my data safe and secure?

    We are a GDPR-compliant company and for further information take a look at our Privacy Policy . The information you add to your workspace is safely stored and backed up on our servers and encrypted both at rest and in-transit. We run all of our billing and payments through Stripe. If you have any further questions please get in touch with us 

  • Can I export my data?

    You can export the Pages in your workspace as PDFs, CSVs and DOCs with more export formats to be added in the future

  • Can I input into product development?

    Absolutely, we want your feedback, ideas and suggestions to help us continue building Protolyst. You can join our Slack community to share your thoughts, organise a call with us or drop us an email to let us know what you think

Subscription FAQs

  • Which payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all credit and debit cards and all our payments are managed through Stripe

    No billing details are needed to set up your account and get started on Protolyst

  • What’s your cancellation policy?

    Once setup you can cancel your subscription anytime and we can offer a refund if you cancel within 7 days of your payment date. Reach out to us or you can cancel your subscription through Manage your Account in your workspace.

  • Can I expense Protolyst to my company or organisation?

    We can provide invoices for you to use for expenses. If you’d like to purchase a subscription through a company or other organisation please get in touch to arrange a payment.

  • Do you offer a student discount?

    Yes, we offer student discounts. If you are a student, you can use the code ACADEMIC20 at checkout for 20% off Monthly and Annual Pro Subscriptions
